Radio you couldn't hear because the streams were overwhelmed

Explosions at shocked the Boston Marathon this afternoon has sent Boston’s news and sports stations into full-coverage mode. At Entercom, news-talk WRKO (680) is simulcasting on sports sister WEEI (93.7, 850). CBS Radio’s all-news WBZ (1030) is simulcasting on “98.5 The Sports Hub” and CHR “103.3 Amp Radio” WODS.
At last check CBS Radio’s classic hits WZLX (100.7) was simulcasting sister WBZ-TV (channel 4). Over at Clear Channel’s CHR “Kiss 108” WXKS-FM the station was mixing music with listener calls. The cause of the fatal explosions is still under investigation.
Greater Media CHR “Hot 96.9” WTKK morning personalities Baltazar and Pebbles returned to the radio station this afternoon to provide timely updates, take calls live on the air from listeners and discuss what happened today. Afternoon personalities Steve Kelly from “Country 102.5FM” WKLB-FM and Julie Devereaux from WROR-FM (105.7) are both providing information and traffic updates. Greater Media Boston says it didn’t have any employees at the race when the explosions took place.
