Joel Tumbiolo, launch weather officer, 45th Weather Squadron at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, reported that the weather still remains 80 percent favorable for the 10:10 a.m. EST liftoff. The only concern would be a slight chance of wind or cloud violations.
"Very excited to be back here. We're a launch company and we love to launch," said Gwynne Shotwell, president of SpaceX. "We're prepared to fly."

The mission is the second of 12 SpaceX flights contracted by NASA to resupply the International Space Station. It will mark the third trip by a Dragon capsule to the orbiting laboratory, following a demonstration flight in May 2012 and the first resupply mission in October 2012.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Tumblr, Vine, Pinterest and FaceTime – those are just a few of the online platforms children are using to stay connected to friends. With each new social media connection, experts say it’s crucial for parents to be vigilant about monitoring their children’s online activity.
Tammy Finch works as a psychologist at Cary Academy and teaches parents how to navigate the digital age. She says parents need to be the guardrails on the superhighway of online information.
“You've got to let your kid ping around a little bit in between the guardrails so that they can learn from their mistakes,” she said.
Kalyse Connor, 12, learned from her mistake after she began collecting random followers online who shared her love of the movie, “The Hunger Games.” Her mother, Angela Connor, intervened and asked if she knew any of the people she was communicating with on Instagram.full article
The 10th Roma Festival "Golden Wheel" will take place in Skopje, Macedonia in April 2013.
The festival is dedicated to the production about the Roma population worldwide. All video production (documentaries and TV films) produced by Roma or non-Roma producers are eligible for applying.
The deadline for submitting films is March 30th, 2013.
B. Regulations for the 10th Roma Film Festival “Golden Wheel” - 2013
1. General Festival screening and playing requirements
Ø Documentaries and TV films treating Roma issues that have been or haven't been screened or broadcasted before on other festivals
Ø It is strongly recommended that the programs are not longer that 30 minutes
Ø Videos can only be shown either if they have English commentary and / or English dialogues, or if the original version is subtitled in English
Ø "Golden Wheel" festival accepts the following screening formants: DV CAM PAL, Mini DVCAM PAL, SVHS PAL, VHS PAL and DVD-s.
Ø There is no limit for the number of submitted programs - every producer, production house or TV station can submit as many programs as they think is appropriate
Ø Once submitted documentary cannot be redrawn.
2. How to enter your program
Ø "Golden Wheel" festival must receive the tape/CD for film’s screening/playing, completed and signed entry form with a VHS preview cassette (PAL)/CD as soon as possible. We will highly appreciate if you enter your programs as early as possible
Ø The preview tape/CD as well as the tape/CD for screening/playing has to have English voice-over and/or dialogue and/or subtitles
Ø The following information must also be provided at the time of entry:
· English script of the program
· A title- list of the languages (Roma, Macedonian and English)
· A biography of the director(s)
· A filmography of the director
· Short history of the production house
· Promotional materials (photographs, posters etc)
· Dialogue list in English
· If you want to enter two or more programs at the festival, make a copy of the entry form for
each one of them
3. Selection of the programs
The "Golden Wheel" festival management selects the programs that will enter in the program section. Priority may be given to films that meet the criteria which are suggested in the General information item.
In case of a program being selected, the festival will notify the applicant, director, producer and distributor of the film.
In case of a program not being officially selected and the applicant / director / producer / distributor of the film is interested to broadcast it on TV BTR, it shall be additionally arranged with the organizer.
After official selection of the programs the "Golden Wheel" festival has the right to:
Ø Use three minutes from the program for broadcasting purposes on local, national or international television on the Golden Wheel festival web sites or in theatres
Ø After ending the festival, the organizer will also keep the right for one screening and plus one rerun screening of the arrived and selected programs in the program's scheme of TV BTR National. By this it is understood that the organizer and the participant are obliged to sign mutual agreement. In one word, we are informing you that your programs will be broadcasted on our TV channel.
Ø Use the publicity material of any kind to promote the festival
Ø Keep the sent tape / CD for non-circulating reference and educational purposes in its archive and preparation of a catalogue of all programs send to the festival
5. Transport of festival programs
Before April 2013 the Festival must have received the screening/playing copy of the program. In case "Golden Wheel" festival wants to use the program for a press screening/playing the sender will be contacted prior to this date.
Ø The transport of the tape / CD has to be via DHL, Fedex or any other fast mail delivery service, because of safety reasons
Ø A pro- forma invoice must accompany the tape / CDs, stating the name of the sender, the title of the program, its size, length, and weather it is in color or black-and-white
Ø Statement confirming non-commercial content and the return address must accompany the cassettes/CDs
Ø The costs of transport to Macedonia are the responsibility of the applicant
Ø The festival will not return the received cassettes/CDs
Ø All invitations will be sent via e-mail
Ø Anyone who wants to visit the festival is obligated to fill out an accreditation form up on arrival. Accreditation forms are to be obtained from the festival office.
Ø An international jury, consisted of experts in the TV and movie business, as well as distinguished representatives from all cultural spheres of Roma and non-Roma nationality, will single out the best programs of the nominated programs
Ø The number of the jury members and the members themselves are nominated by the Festival management
Ø The official festival jury is entirely independent and free in selecting the winning program
Ø The jury's decision is final

The organising committee of the Majid Bin Mohammed Youth Media Award has appointed 16 student ambassadors with the intent of promoting student participation in this year’s sixth edition of the award.
A preliminary meeting took place between the student ambassadors and the organising committee held at the private office of Shaikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, where students learned about their responsibilities as ambassadors, along with their role in communicating the award’s objectives among students on university and college campuses.
A total of 16 student ambassadors were selected.

- Media access and consumption among 5-15 year olds in each of the four nations and across the UK, including: access to and use of the internet on a range of devices including tablets and mobile phones as well as PCs/laptops/netbooks; mobile phone ownership; TV watching on devices other than a TV set; and hours spent using the internet, gaming and watching TV per week.
- The prevalence of social networking profiles among 5-15 year olds in each of the four nations, and online confidence among 8-11 year olds in each of the four nations.
- Which regularly-used device children aged 5-15 in each of the four nations would miss the most if it was taken away.
- The proportion of parents of 5-15 year olds in each of the four nations who are: concerned about content on TV, on the internet, on mobile phones and in games; have rules about their children’s use of TV, the internet, mobile phones and gaming; have parental controls set on the TV, PC/laptop/netbook; child’s mobile phone and gaming device used by their child; and who have talked to their child about staying safe online.
- Attitudes towards their child’s internet use, among parents of 5-15 year olds in each of the four nations.

As magnetic fields on the sun rearrange and realign, dark spots known as sunspots can appear on its surface. Over the course of Feb. 19-20, 2013, scientists watched a giant sunspot form in under 48 hours. It has grown to over six Earth diameters across but its full extent is hard to judge since the spot lies on a sphere not a flat disk.
The spot quickly evolved into what's called a delta region, in which the lighter areas around the sunspot, the penumbra, exhibit magnetic fields that point in the opposite direction of those fields in the center, dark area. This is a fairly unstable configuration that scientists know can lead to eruptions of radiation on the sun called solar flares.
